The Jacksonville Women Lawyers Association (JWLA) was founded in 1982 to provide support and networking for the women lawyers in Jacksonville. JWLA membership is open to all attorneys, male or female, in Jacksonville and surrounding counties.
JWLA reaches out to the community by supporting Hubbard House, the local women's shelter. In addition, JWLA has established a mentoring program in conjunction with the Florida Coastal School of Law and promotes legal scholarship. JWLA also hosts the Annual Judicial Reception, an event at which the judges of local state, federal and administrative benches are recognized for their contribution to the legal community.
In addition to monthly membership luncheons, JWLA sponsors a variety of events, so please see their website at http://www.jwla.org. Chapter dues are $180 and include admissions to event, except the judicial reception. Students fees are $25. You may link to the online application here as a PDF.
