February membership meeting will be Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at 6:00 p.m.

at Mythos Greek Restaurant Taverna, 13575 58th Street N # 111, Clearwater, Florida.

Tish Wold, a former officer in the Navy and graduate of the eighth class of the United States Naval Academy to graduate women, will speak to PFAWL members about the challenges female veterans face, how to support women in the military during active duty as well as how to help women in the military transition back to civilian life later on. It is at this time that PFAWL will kick off its “Valentines for Veterans” drive where it will be collecting needed items to be sent overseas to deployed solders. 

The South Palm Beach County Chapter of FAWL’s next monthly meeting will be held February 9, 2012 at 11:45 a.m. at Season's 52 in Boca Raton. Presentation by Penny Morey – Business Tips for Your Law Practice. RSVP to Leorah Greenman at lgreenman@fwblaw.net.

Jacksonville Area Legal Aid 

“Carpe Circa, Seize the Date!!” Come bid on your favorite bachelor/bachelorette and win a great date and wonderful prizes. All proceeds benefit Jacksonville Area Legal Aid. February 9, 2012 the event will start at 5:30 p.m. and the auction starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available through JALA and in Room 503 of the Duval County Courthouse. Cost is $30.00 per person, 2 for $50.00 in advance and $35.00 on the day of the event and at the door. The Marion County Chapter of FAWL meets regularly on the 3rd Monday of each month at noon at Latinos y Mas Restaurant, 2030 S Pine Ave., in Ocala.  Priority seating and service are provided.  The February 20, 2012 meeting will be held to honor its members.  All are invited and reserved seats are necessary.

The Marion County Chapter of FAWL meets regularly on the 3rd Monday of each month at noon at Latinos y Mas Restaurant, 2030 S Pine Ave., in Ocala.  Priority seating and service are provided.  The March 19, 2012 meeting will host Alan Mong from Person Freedom Development on "Memory Training, Goal Setting, Attitude, and Time Management".  All are invited and reserved seats are necessary.
